‘Frankie’ 3 and a half year old Male Dachshund. Frankie is looking for a new home as his owners health was deteriorating and they weren’t going to be able to continue caring for him as well as they wanted to. He has been used to visitng children but has been a bit nervous since he arrived with us so we can’t consider homes with young children for now, though this will be under constant review. We were told he does get on with other dogs, though if they bark he will react. He is up to date with his vaccinations and has been house trained. He is not castrated yet, the vet has advised that doing this while he is nervous would be counter-productive, so will need to settle before this is done.
