‘Hakan’ 11 and a half month old Male Kangal Shepherd. Hakan was a stray, and we have been asked to rehome him as the rehoming centre he was at did not have a kennel big enough for him. He is still a big puppy and his temperament is good but he is a guard breed so bear this in mind. This does not mean he can’t be a pet but you must be aware that he may show protective behaviour when he attaches to his new family and will therefore need a strong owner to take him out. He is nearly 50kg now and he is lean and still growing! He will not be homed to anyone without adequate, well fenced outside space for him to stay in when at home.
