‘Layzee’ Female Border Collie. Layzee has just turned 8 years old but you wouldn’t know it! Her previous owner sadly passed away so we don’t know much about her background but she was in a mild state of neglect when she arrived, with a matted, smelly coat and fairly overweight. Her weight is coming down but she has a little to go yet. Despite her past she is a very affectionate girl and has lived with cats previously so we have no concerns with her temperament and are happy to hold introductions without restrictions at the moment. Unfortunately after a few days in her new home Layzee has had to come back to us as she would not get along with the cats already living there, despite having cats in her previous home, so cat free homes are required going forward. Her adopter also found her to be a bit stubborn on occasion, so maybe an owner who can offer a bit of training would be an advantage.
