PLACED WITH RESCUE 20/4/23 ‘Reuben’ 9 to 10 month old Male German Shepherd. Reuben needs a new home as his owner sadly passed away. Reuben was offered to rescue place only but the vet has said he can be offered for adoption on the understanding that he has quite pronounced hip dysplasia and his new owner will have to be aware that he will need a sensible exercise regime and although he gets around fine at the moment and has no sign of osteoarthritis setting in at this point, this is something that may well become an issue as he gets older and will likely need medication and affect his mobility. He would be ideally suited to an experienced Shepherd owner and if you have experience with this condition, even better. He has been good natured with staff and is bright and lively. He would benefit from some training.
